Click, syndicated!

Click, promoted!

It’s really almost that simple for a single person to create and distribute news to a global audience with house hold technology and virtually no resources (investment or other). Every person with a smart phone has the ability to report journalistically on just about anything at any time in almost every situation.

The exclusivity to broadcast messages on a large scale has been stripped from the media and picked up by the social media users and bloggers of the world. Actual news stations use and report on tweets, blog posts, Facebook activity, and more.

Is blogging just a blog. Is that blog transformed into something more after being picked up by a CNN correspondent, driving millions of page views.

Lets call it what it is

It’s journalism!

Definition of journalism: Noun – The activity or profession of writing for newspapers or magazines or of broadcasting news on radio or television, and the product of such activity.
